  1. Download and install Lightworks free video editor in your Windows 10 PC. 
  2. Register an account with an email.
  3. After running the software, locate the Libraries options at the left panel of the interface and select Local files to import a video from your computer.
  4. Now drag the video file to the Lightworks timeline. If you find the video tracks are limited, you need to add more video or audio tracks. Just right-click the mouse on the empty space in the timeline areas and then navigate to Tracks>Add video or audio
  5. To crop a video in Windows 10 using Lightworks, move the red timeline cursor to the place you want to crop the video and then press the “C”  key on your PC to split the video. Firstly, move the red video cursor to the place you hope to crop the video and then find the option of “add an in mark at the current position” which is placed under the preview window. After that, move the cursor to the end part of the video you want to crop and then add an out mark at the current position.  To crop the video you do not need, just select the option called “ delete the marked section under the preview window.
  6. To save the video, right-click the mouse on the empty space and then select Export and MP4 (FREE).
